- Use of CMMS/EAM systems for planning and execution.
Day 2 – Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Time-based and usage-based tasks.
- Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Condition monitoring techniques:
– Vibration analysis.
– Infrared thermography.
– Oil analysis.
- Reliability-Centred Maintenance principles.
Day 3 – Troubleshooting & Analysis
- Troubleshooting methodologies: Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Reading schematics and interpreting technical documentation.
Supporting personnel in attending this CMRT preparation course delivers tangible business advantages, including:
- Improved Equipment Reliability – Fewer repeat failures through correct maintenance and early fault detection.
- Reduced Downtime – Faster, more accurate troubleshooting and improved preventive maintenance execution.
- Lower Maintenance Costs – Less rework, fewer emergency repairs, and extended asset life.
- Safer Operations – Improved adherence to safe work practices and maintenance standards.
- Stronger Technical Workforce – Skilled, certified technicians applying consistent, reliability-focused practices.
Investing in CMRT certification strengthens maintenance execution, improves asset performance, and supports long-term operational excellence.
- Participants are not required to sit the CMRT exam upon course completion.
- Course participation does not include exam registration or fees; these are the responsibility of each participant.
